We have new friend joining the Park District of Franklin Park! The bee will be working with our Project Aurelius team and Early Childhood Programs to teach the importance of pollinators. In the bee world, the ones you see on flowers are female. They are the “worker” bees who make up the vast majority of a hive’s population.
We are asking for the public’s help in naming our bee mascot. If you have any name suggestions for her, send the Park District a message on Facebook or email us. We look forward to hearing your ideas!
